FCT Education Leadership Honoured with 2026 Africa Top School Award

The Mandate Secretary for Education, Permanent Secretary of the Education Secretariat, Acting Executive Chairman of FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB), and four other heads of sister agencies under the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) have been honoured with the prestigious 2026 Africa Top School Award.

The award, presented by Africa Brands Review, a Lagos-based leadership  and performance development organization, recognizes their exemplary leadership in education and unwavering commitment to the welfare, development, and empowerment of the Nigerian and African child.

The award ceremony was held at Green Minds Hotel, Utako, Abuja, attracting education stakeholders and distinguished guests who celebrated the recipients' outstanding contributions to advancing quality education within the FCT and beyond.

The recognition underscores the growing impact of the FCT education sector in promoting excellence, innovation, and child-centered educational development across Africa.
