This is to inform you that the Permanent Secretary, FCT has approved the 2025/2026 School Calendar for Primary and Post Primary levels in the FCT as detailed below:

| HOLIDAYS | Sunday 19th July, 2026 | Sunday 6th September, 2026 | 7 Weeks |
NOTE:
i. All boarding students are to resume on a weekend (Sunday) and day students on Mondays, and all private schools in the FCT are to use the Calendar for their guidance and strict compliance or otherwise be sanctioned.
ii. All National Public holidays are to be observed.
iii. A genuine reason to close earlier or later than the stipulated dates in the school calendar should seek for approval from Education Secretariat through Department of Quality Assurance (DQA) one month before the desired date.
iv. All approved private schools in FCT are to STRICTLY comply with the above.
