Garba Baba Gambo is the Department Social Mobilisation. He was born on the 25th April, 1965 in Maiduguri the Borno State Capital.

He attended Abba ganaram Primary School Maiduguri ( 1973- 1978 ). Government Arabic Teachers' College Maiduguri ( 1978 - 1983 ).

He proceeded to Bayero University, Kano where he attended School of General Studies ( 1984-85) & he graduated from the University with B.A.(Ed) History in 1988.

He started work with Borno State government as an education officer and later lecturer in the then Borno State College of Legal & Islamic Studies. He later join the then FCT Primary Education Board Abuja in 1996. As a result of his hard work, dedication and commitment to duty he appointed to head the newly established social mobilisation Department in 2006.

He has served in so many committees since the inception of Universal Basic Education Program.   

He is presently the HOD of Social Mobilization at FCT-UBEB.
